Jing Ulrich, J.P. Morgan’s Chairman of China Equities and Commodities, will share her latest insights from discussions with senior Chinese contacts on the shift in policy direction, outlook for key industries and China's impact on global commodities.

Discussion topics will include:

- As policymakers seek to transition from rapid growth to longer-term stability, will drivers of China's economic growth become more balanced? What is the outlook for asset and property prices?

- China's consumer market is taking off, thanks in part to urbanization and increased mobility from the development of the country’s high-speed rail network. What are the key factors underpinning China's demand for commodities?

- China is moving forward with its ambitious capital market reforms program. What changes are on the horizon and what impact may they have on capital flows?

Jing Ulrich , AB ’90 , is leading the expansion of J.P. Morgan’s China equity business both in China and worldwide as well as developing business opportunities that arise from China’s demand for commodities. In this capacity, Jing is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, corporate clients and Chinese regulatory authorities. Educated at Harvard and Stanford Universities, Jing has received numerous industry accolades for her work as a China watcher.
