The Harvard Club of Hong Kong is a non-profit organization
that depends on the continued support of its members in the
form of dues to finance its day-to-day functioning, activities
and events. The Club has more than 1400 Harvard alumni on
its mailing list with whom it communicates on a regular basis.
HCHK members receive invitations to all Club events and activities
and their participation is at a discounted rate. Regular monthly
events include a mixer, lunch and hike. Activities include
the Harvard Book Prize with all secondary schools in Hong
Kong (about 500) invited to participate, and job and resume
posting section on our website. Special events include speakers
from Harvard, such as Kenneth Chien, Bill Kirby, Harry Lewis,
Doug Melton and Larry Summers, as well as distinguished Harvard
alumni. The Club often organizes events with organizations
like American Chamber of Commerce, The Asia Society, Harvard
Business School Association of Hong Kong, Hong Kong General
Chamber of Commerce and other university alumni organizations
in Hong Kong.
