About the event

As AI becomes embedded in classrooms and daily life, are we offloading too much of our thinking - or creating new ways to think more deeply? Dean Nonie Lesaux will share how AI is reshaping education, learning, and teaching, and what it means for the skills students and educators need now.

Nonie K. Lesaux is Dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Roy Edward Larsen Professor of Education and Human Development. A faculty member since 2003 and former Academic Dean, her research centers on improving learning opportunities and literacy outcomes for children and youth. She co-leads the Saul Zaentz Early Education Initiative, is a member of the National Academy of Education, and was a 2009 recipient of a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers - the highest honor given by the U.S. government to young professionals beginning their independent research careers.
