The Boundless Worlds of Bingyi: A Private Guided Tour

Join us for a private tour of Bingyi’s latest exhibition, an immersive journey across three levels: Cool Breeze, Suspended Garden, and Layered City. Known for her monumental installation The Eternal Pond of the Universe at the Harvard Art Museums, Bingyi’s work is presented here with the support of INKstudio. The event is hosted by Hanart TZ Gallery, celebrating over 40 years of championing established and emerging Chinese and international artists.

About the Artist

Bingyi (冰逸) was born in Beijing and earned her Ph.D. in art history from Yale University in 2005, where she specialized in the literature and culture of the Han Dynasty.

Her practice spans two seemingly opposite worlds: large-scale monumental ink paintings that evolve over months or even years in dialogue with a site's natural forces, capturing wind, water, and weather as they shape the land, and miniature works that dive into the microscopic origins of life, where…
