HLS/PIFS/CDRF 2023 China-U.S. Symposium- September 13-15, Hong Kong

This year’s program will be the 20th annual US-China Symposium jointly held by Harvard Law School (HLS), the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS), and China Development Research Foundation. The US-China symposium gathers 120 participants from the financial sector, academia, and government for an invite-only off-the-record discussion of the most salient policy issues affecting the U.S. and Chinese financial systems.

The symposium will be held at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong on September 13-15 and confirmed in person speakers include including Brent Nieman, Asst Undersecretary, International Finance, U.S. Treasury Department, Emily Blanchard, Chief Economist, U.S. State Department, Erica Williams, Chair, PCAOB, Larry Summers, President Emeritus, Harvard University, LIU Fushou, Chief Risk Officer, National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA), Laura CHA, Chairman, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX), and LOU Jiwei, Former Minister of Finance, Peoples Republic of China.
